For the best quality photos, we recommend you set your digital camera to produce the largest file size possible. If you are using a scanner to create your digital file, you should set the scanner to obtain a file that is your final print size at 300 DPI. Please note - digital files for larger print sizes such as 8x10s will be large. The average size of a photographic digital file for making an 8x10 is 18MB (uncompressed). Pictures in a compressed format like JPG will transfer to our lab much quicker than an uncompressed format.
