Ilford Multigrade Filters provide contrast grade steps from #00 to #5 in equally spaced half-step increments. Use to vary the contrast with any Multigrade paper for better print quality and without having to stock paper in several contrast grades. Since Multigrade Filters are speed-matched, the same exposure can be used when printing with any filter from #00 to #3-1/2 without having to waste time and paper by making test prints. Filters #4 to #5 require 1 f-stop more exposure, an easy compensation to make. Multigrade Filters are available in sets of twelve 3.5 x 3.5" sheets for use above the negative carrier, in your enlarger's filter drawer.
