An excellent light source for digital, video...even daylight-color film. While other fluorescent lamps have a Color Rendering Index of only between 60 to 80 (100 CRI is perfect), the ColorMaster is rated at 93 CRI for vivid and natural color rendering, without the washed-out and poor color reproduction of other bulbs. With a life of 10,000 hours, 5500° color temperature and low heat, it is an excellent light source for many studio applications. Spiral 50 watt lamp fits fixtures that accept household-threaded incandescent bulbs. Measures 3" diameter by 8-1/2" long. Uses 50 watts of power, but has the brightness of a 200 watt incandescent lamp.

I have tried many CFL. This one so far is the most natural. It has much less green spike than most. Minge metered a little lower than 5500k, around 5200k but still nice. Not as bright as other 45-50w lamps, but that is to be expected if you you want better color.
