The Knome Dome Wide Slave is a "picture saver" for most everyone who takes flash pictures indoors. Just set the unit on a table, chair, shelf, floor behind the subject and compose to make your regular flash picture. The Knome Dome automatically fires in sync with the camera's main flash. Its light output effectively eliminates most of the offensive shadows cast by the camera flash. And it adds fill light to the background to even out the illumination, add color, depth and definition. Has tripod socket for mounting on supports, test button and includes PC cord. Requires (2) AA batteries, not included.

It does just as advertised. It can be used to fill in the dark areas when taking a photo. Or by using it at an angle smooth out the shadows on faces or things.
